I met Robin in February of 2002. I had 3 horses shipped to me and when the transporter got there, there was one horse left to be delivered to a nearby town. He was the most beautiful boy, all decked out in his winter attire!! He had this certain charm...he'd curl his lip up to say hi!! I remember commenting on how cute he was to the transporters. I met Robin after I saw where this boy (that Robin sold) was being re-sold the day he arrived at his new home and she was very upset about it. I wrote to her and told her I'd seen her boy the day before on the trailer and I told her how awesome I thought he was. The rest as they say, is history!! Our friendship was immediate and has only grown stronger each day!!
Over the past (almost) 2 years, I've learned a lot about people. There are those that you regard as 'acquaintances', those you even venture to say are friends...then there are people like Robin. Robin has been the most wonderful friend to me. She has taught me so very much about these little horses. She's helped me to learn to correctly critique conformation, what to look for in pedigrees and her wealth of information on foaling has been a very valuable asset to me.
I finally got to meet Robin and her sweet husband Karrel in September of this year (2003). I went there to visit her and pick up a colt I was buying from her. I was able to interact with her herd of gorgeous horses, all of them sweet and animated. I was able to bring home a gorgeous TINY little line back dun colt by her handsome stallion Little Bran and out of her pretty black pinto mare Bebe. He was everything Robin had told me he was! Robin showed me both parents, including their bites and legs and critiqued Buck's overall conformation. After looking at his siblings and sizing up the benefits of having such a small balanced horse as a herd sire, I scooped Buck up and brought him home. I am thrilled with him! I am monitoring this colt as he grows (as with any horse that will be used in my breeding program) and feel confident that at maturity this boy will be every bit as striking as his sire and his sire's sire.
What I appreciated most about Robin (aside from our friendship) is that she was honest with me about things that many people wouldn't have disclosed, no matter how minor. She gave me the information I needed to make an educated decision in regards to buying Buck and I am totally happy with my decision. As I told Robin I would have made off with several of her mares too if she would have allowed it, they truly are beautiful horses!! It was great seeing a breeder that truely Loves her horses.
Thank you Robin and Karrel for entrusting us with your precious little colt. He will have a happy healthy live here with us and we look forward to more visits with you and your beautiful herd!!!

This year ( 2005 ) I purchased a wonderful little colt from Robin based only on some internet photos and much correspondence with Robin. I want everyone to know that other than a few purchases from some big name catalogs, I have never purchased anything over the internet, much less a living, breathing animal. Robin's emails were very through, and at no time did she every really try to SELL the horse to me. She only guided me in making a good decision. I look forward to future correspondences with her ( she knows more about minis than I ever will ), her friendship, and hopefully another sweet little horse.
Sincerely,
Linda Garrett

I purchased a beautiful colt "Silver" from Robin and Karrel. As I was not able to pay the full amount, Robin and Karrel worked with me on a payment plan. They were very patient with me let me make the payment amount that suited me and my family. Robin was always very informative, offering me all possible information on Silver and sent me pictures of him as he changed with the seasons and clippings. She also sent me pictures of his lineage.
Robin and Karrel then went out of their way to help me get my little colt. Karrel drove over 2 hours to deliver Silver to me and then waited all day in the heat for us as we were stranded on the HWY with a flat tire. Much to our relief, Karrel was there and patiently waiting when we finally arrived.
Much to my surprise, Silver is much more beautiful in person than the pictures portrayed. I will definitely do buisness with Robin and Karrel again. Robin loves her horses very much and it shows in everything she does to assist them in finding good homes. Thank you Robin and Karrel, I look forward to purchasing from you again in the future.

Hi Robin long time and long overdue on this letter, I know. I have had it partially written for a long time but very much wanted it to say exactly what I felt in my experience w/ you and buying the ponies.
Thank you for a wonderful and informative experience in buying our first miniature horses. You have a true gift of honesty, forthrightness, and a genuine gentle nature in making the best possible placement for your horses and vice versa for their new owners.
When the news came from my husband last June, that it was time for me to have the horse that I had always wanted (but could never have in years past), I was elated. I began searching every web site I could find, staying up to the wee hours of the night looking for just the right horse. I emailed several farms and had conversed with many owners about coming to see their babies. But when I stumbled across your website and found just the right pinto foal (Apache) and had also shared in your "Raised w/love, Sold w/ honesty" motto I just had to email you.
I was very up front in letting you know about my limited knowledge of horses, which you encouraged me and displaced any fears or uncertainties that I may have had. You took the time to answer any and all questions with great detail. At that time, we agreed on visiting your farm and seeing your precious little ones. That day came and we met face to face, you introduced my family & I to your herd and to what were to become two new members of our family. You were so very patient, informative, and open to all the naive questions that I had. Thank you!
Come to find out, you really do live up to your motto and were indeed "honest" and your horses are truly "raised with love". Apache and Blaze are beautiful and precious to us and you will be remembered in our hearts forever. I look forward to maybe adding to our family in the future and will be calling on you when that time comes. Sincerely, Kimberly Freeman & Family

Robin and Karrel--
Thank you so much for allowing me to purchase little ROKO Maine Pride of Lotto. She is such a beautiful, sweet girl and I love her very much. I'd also like to take the time to thank you for making the sale as easy as you possibly could for me. You didn't have to offer me payment options, but you did.

I have known Robin for about 5 years. Art and I have always admired her horses and her foals. She is truly blessed with her herd. We have kidded back and forth about maybe a foal or two coming to live with our family of miniatures forever it seems. Art has had his eye on one foal in particular since she was born. A Lotto/Bond Snippet filly. Art has always wanted a "tiny" miniature horse to be his " pocket buddy" go where he goes and curl up in front of the fireplace in the winter with the two of us, to be part of our family. This filly was the one! Out of the blue, Robin emailed me and asked if I would like to have her for Art for Christmas. I could not say yes fast enough! I never thought he would have this precious filly to call his own!!! Art stopped by Robin's a week later, and told me to call her and buy his dream girl, I tried to put him off till Christmas, but he wanted her now, so Robin got things rolling for her to come home with us the next weekend. This is the first of many more that we will purchase from Robin and Karrel. We have watched a lot of her foals grow from babies to spectacular mares, geldings and stallions. Art and I have been in horses most of our lives, and have seen horses priced much higher, but none more beautiful. Her horses are worthy of the asking price, in our opinion a steal! Again, Robin and Karrel thank you for entrusting one of your precious foals to us, "Cricket" has a forever home with Art and I.

Usually it's fairly stressful trying to buy a horse long distance, but you took the worry right out of it with all the pictures I asked for and frequent updates on how she was doing.
You really are sweet people and I thank you for allowing me to be the FIRST to own a Lotto filly. She's everything I wanted and more.

Robin & Karrel,
I can't say thank you enough for allowing us to purchase Whisp and add her to our family. She is beautiful and has the best personality. I know that she will make a wonderful show horse and a great future broodmare. You provided more information and pictures about her than you had to. And you & Karrel were so thoughtful and accomodating by meeting us halfway to deliver Whisp to us when you didn't have to.
All of the advice and support that you have given me in the recent weeks is priceless and I would be lost without you. I am so grateful for the new friendships that I have made.
Thank You Again,

And also to thank your husband Karrel for meeting me half way, he's a real nice man by the way, but your a very sweet and caring person and I can tell you have such a love for your horses. I would highly recommend you to someone. Many thanks to you both and I'm quite sure I'll be back in the future....

I am watching my two beautiful ROKO mini’s running around their field on a horrible rainy day in GA and my heart swells with gratitude and wonder that Robin has let me have these two little guys.
After months of searching, trying to find an Arab type little stallion to start my mini herd I came across Robin’s website. Her horses were beautiful, but most of all her love and attention to her horses came through on every page of the site. And there he was, at the bottom of the 2nd sale page!! Indy just caught my eye with his cheeky little face and blue eyes. He was so refined but at only 26” at 16 months he would stay tiny!
At first I was scared to contact Robin, knowing that I would need to pay for him over time, and would not be able to see him in ‘person’. After reading her reference page my hopes were raised, but I had contacted other breeders who were not very receptive or informative.
Thank God I did! Robin has been so patient and understanding, standing behind us through various difficulties including a car wreck in Dec and another with the truck we were using to come get the boys a week before we were due to travel! She has answered all my stupid questions and put me on the right track to giving both boys a good start in their new home.
Robin also encouraged me to provide Indy with a companion, and when a friend of mine’s mini proved to be unsuitable offered me Mojo at a very reasonable price to continue to be Indy’s buddy. And then ran around getting blood pulled for coggins, health papers and all the other necessary stuff done for two minis just a week before the shippers arrived.
A lot of horsey friends recoiled in horror when I explained I was buying these guys sight unseen from hundreds of emails and a few pictures so I waited in trepidation…and then they walked off the horse truck and I cried with tears of joy. They were much better than any picture could portray. Indy is so refined and tiny with the perfect head and when he naturally sets up he is awesome. Mojo is also very pretty and correct with long legs and a perfect topline and sweetest personality…he has to have to put up with Indy’s pranks!
Thank you Robin and Karrel for these two little guys, they are perfect. Thank you for helping us so much through the problems of getting them here and most of all Thank you for trusting me with your horses, I know how much you love them all, it shows in how you do business and the quality of your horses.

Robin,
Once again I want to thank you for allowing me to purchase Sophie from you. I know how much you love her and feel honored that you trust me enough to let her come live with me. You have become a super friend to me over the past year since I first purchased Whyspy last April and would be lost without your guidance. And you know that I will probably still come up with more questions for you in the future. :)
Sophie is really more awesome than you let on and I just love her! When you said that she had a wonderful roadster trot, you weren’t kidding. I can’t wait to see the foal that she and Lotto can make together. Between the two of them, this foal will be a driving horse deluxe for sure!
I loved getting to visit with you and Karrel and meet all of your horses in person. They really are the friendliest group of horses that I have met. I can really tell that they truly are your “children” and are treated as such.
I can’t wait to get the opportunity to come back for another visit and purchase another ROKO horse. In the meantime you need to take down your website before everybody else realizes what wonderful horses you have and snatches them up for themselves! JK!

Hey Robin,
I just wanted to drop a line and let you know how much I like my 2 girls that were delivered over the weekend. You were very honest about them and answered all of my questions adequately and I really appreciate it. It is tough knowing who you can trust when you are just dealing over the internet, but I would definitely buy from you guys again. This makes 3 of your horses that I have bought and I am tickled with each one. The horses were all fat, well socialized and healthy when they stepped off the trailer, and all the paperwork was in order. I look forward to doing business with you again in the future.
Take care and thanks a bunch! Pam

April 8 2010~~Robin, I LOVE this filly I bought from you!! She's even more beautiful than her photos showed, and so refined! Very well-behaved and sweet as well. I believe that she would do very well in the show ring and hope to prove that very thing this year. Someone mentioned recently that your main stallion, Lotto, is one of the most under-appreciated stallions out there and I very much agree. I would have to add that you are one of the most under-appreciated breeders out there. You have great horses and your honesty in selling them is very refreshing. Thanks so much! Sincerely, Lori Lancaster, Magic Mist Miniatures
