I am trying to have this page to help others in need. I have always said that mini people help each other so here is your chance! All you have to do is, if you have a mare that foals, save some of her colostrum and freeze it and email me with your info.

What if your mare foaled and either doesn't have colostrum or dies? That foal needs colostrum ASAP! You could come here, see who is near you that has colostrum saved and you contact them to get it for your foal!

I have colostrum from last year. 3 baggies 4 ounces each.
Collected 05/09/09. I am located in East Texas, right outside of Canton, or 1 hour east of Dallas. Cell number is 903-720-6170, home is 903-833-5106.

I don't have colostrum, but have plasma for oral use only. Must be given as soon as possible after birth,as it is absorbed through the gut of the foal like colostrum. Needs to be supplimented with something for energy. Whatever you can get from the mare, or another mare is great, but foal milk replacer or even whole milk from the store will work.

We should be having foals anywhere from mid May-August so will have colostrum available for most of the summer. I have one mare that is a 365 milker so if there are any orphan foals in the area, I would be willing to take one on and see if she'll accept it.

I have a 10 lb bucket of Progressive Nutrition's Foals First Milk Replacer Powder. I've only taken a small scoop out of it. If anybody in the area needs some milk replacer and can't get it or find it, I do have this available.
